Here is a little bit about us...
Woodward at Copper is one of the most unique training programs in the world. We have built our programming off of a rich 40 year history in both gymnastics and action sports. Spawning from Camp Woodward in Pennsylvania, we are part of the largest sports camp families in the world. It took years of dedicated people and tried methods to become one the best out there, and it only got better with Woodward at Copper.
Only here can you take skills that you learn and perfect inside the barn onto the mountain all in the very same day- or hour! As we are nestled minutes away from Copper Mountain Ski Resort. At the resort we have a variety of parks for every skill level that stay year round! That's right- we are the only program to have snow even through the summer months.
So come try us out- get out of the house, meet new people, push yourselves farther, and have a blast doing it! We offer a huge variety of products, classes, camps, and daily sessions all year long. Look for special deals here, we wouldn't want you to miss them.
OUR HISTORY- CAMP WOODWARD, PA

The first Woodward program began in Pennsylvania at our Camp Woodward site (photo above), it was actually a practice makes perfect gymnastics camp that opened in 1970. In 1980 there was a summer Olympics boycott which hurt the business in the United States tremendously. So the genius founders decided to expand into skateboarding and BMX, identifying with the gymnastic qualitys of each. Which since then they have expanded this sector tremendously.
So much in fact that they began to notice the natural jump to winter sports. About 10 years ago, president Gary Ream decided Woodward needed a cold-weather home. He quickly found Copper, a ski resort with style and an interest in having an educational presence. Thus was born the nation's fourth Woodward training camp- the facility stays true to Woodward's tradition in BMX, skate in-line, and tumbling but also expands to ski/ snowboarding. Woodward at Copper is only building on the 40+ years of experience.
