Grom Week - Snowboard/Ski/Skate

Are you between the ages of 8 to 12? Then Grom Week is perfect for you! We offer this special session every summer as an outlet for younger campers to get the attention and supervision that they need.  It is a shortened session with progression programming that caters to campers ages 8 to 12. During Grom Week we add more staff, earlier bed times, and activities that work with our youngest campers. For most campers this is their first experience away from home so we create a comfortable environment for them to get their first taste of independence.  NEW for summer 2013 we are inviting parents to experience summer camp with their little rippers.  That’s right if you are more comfortable coming to camp with your camper to experience grom week, we encourage it! NEW SUMMER LIFT AND HUGE BARN IMPROVEMENTS FOR SUMMER 2013!

The Woodward at Copper Barn, our 19,400 square foot facility, will receive a major revamp before the 2013 Summer Camp season. All current synthetic snow surfaces will be replaced with a surface designed for wheels. This new surface boosts jumping progression far beyond just skis and snowboards, to include BMX, mountain bike and skateboards. In addition, a new progressive foam pit will be added next to the current big jump line that will include a drop in platform with 2-foot and 4-foot jumps designed for development of beginner park skills. The street area will double in size allowing for full access by BMX, mountain bike, skateboards and park skis and snowboards. Renovations also will include two new viewing areas giving spectators an up-close peek at the action.
